I tried to make a return and the…

I tried to make a return and the cashier was uninterested in helping me so I went to another location that didnt work, so I ended up calling and by luck got a manager! Michelle you rock, Thankyou for your help!!

Great in store pick up

This was an easy website to navigate. I quickly found what I needed, placed the order for in store pick up, and within an hour had an email it was ready for pick up.

The alterations provided by Missy at…and

The alterations provided by Missy at the Bel Air, MD, store exceeded expectations. She provided assistance on materials needed to accommodate the desired results.
She also kept me abreast of the status of work; which is very important.

Love going to Holyoke store

When to the store this Morning This young lady name Winelys was in front of the store, told me Hi how was doing :) ask me if i needed any help she will be at the register. She help me with my son project. Sweet person. Definitely coming back to the Holyoke store.

I’m right in this review regarding the Jo Ann’s located in Maplewood
I believe the sales lady‘s name was Emma she was very helpful, kind and bubbly she also helped us find a coupon online which saved us Just about 50% off the price that we would’ve spent at Michael’s me and my husband really appreciate if her customer service I’m not sure if she was a manager or not but she definitely deserves a raise for great customer service which is super hard to find these days

They have great product.

They have great product.. grapevine tx customers service is great.. BUT their coupon program sucks... it’s insulting. I can guarantee you when they have a 60% off any regular price item... EVERYTHING in the store will have a max of 30% off so you can’t use. After you shop and go to check out plan on spending time if your using coupons only to find out most don’t apply. Frustrating for you AND the employees. Hobby Lobby no longer issues coupons they have weekly sales... so easy and pleasant. No guess work.

Advice on how to sew 95% rayon and 5% spandex material

Today I bought Knit Solid black 95% rayon and 5% spandex material again. I didn't know how to sew this fabric when I first bought it on March 2, 2021. I called Joann's Torrance, CA location this past week and a nice person gave me some advice. Today, another nice person, the Assistant Manager gave me more good advice on Stabilizing the rayon material and also explained the different sewing machine needles to me.
I am so HAPPY that Joann's is in Torrance.
They should teach sewing in public schools again.

Go to the physical store

The one I go to has very knowledgeable people and, for the most part, everyone seems happy to help. I've never had issues with curbside pickup. I will say pictures of the fabric online can be misleading with the color and size, and their inventory system is wonky, but I'm surprised to see so much hate here. I will always support Joanns, they are introducing pronoun stickers for their employees and they have great deals on remnants. They are pretty progressive, especially compared to Hobby Lobby. They also have tattoo based fabrics and a fabric that depicts heavier set women in a positive, attractive light.

Anita was outstanding in helping me with my order!

Anita, who works at the Prescott, Az. Outlet is a 10 star employee! I have never had such a caring and considerate experience with an employee. She works at the fabric cutting counter and I found a perfect fabric for my curtain project. The problem was that there was not enough fabric for me to complete my curtains. She cared sooo much and preceded to call over 10 Joann stores to try and get me more of this fabric. I waited while she did this and during this time she helped at least 10 other customers, cut their fabric and cared for every one of them and their needs and nobody waited at all while she assisted me in finding the store that had the fabric which I needed. Her multitasking skills are incredible! I owned a floral shop for 30 years and my husband was the president of 3 hospitals before we retired, recognizing such a special employee we wanted to let you know! Anita is a true gem! Oh and she found enough of the fabric that I needed at another store for me and notified me that it came in today. I so appreciate her and wanted to let you know! Pretty decent.

My packages from Joann usually arrive on time and if not, there is tracking that updates swiftly as to where my package is and on what date. However, I don't appreciate the packaging. Putting fabrics, yarns, and craft items in just a plastic bag without any padding or wrapping whatsoever can lead to the bag tearing as well as any of the items inside being damaged.
I'd recommend their curbside pick-up. You can then ensure that the items you get are correct and not damaged.

Store appearance

I shopped at the Bloomfield Hills, MI store today. I was surprised at how dirty the store was. The floors were incredibly dirty. I just wanted to let the management know.

I love Shrewsbury MA JoAnn's!

The JoAnn store in Shrewsbury, MA is completely refreshed and well stocked. They have every up to the minute sewing and craft trend, and their staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The managers are thoroughly professional and first rate in every way. During the shut down, I was delighted to be able to buy a Janome sewing machine via their curbside pickup, which was an amazingly orderly and smooth process, though it was early in the pandemic and there was a long line of cars awaiting pickup orders. I ordered the machine online and picked it up at noon the next day. I am a 17- year frequent customer of this store and have enjoyed every single visit!

I feel the exact same way. They cancelled an order I placed online and they never contacted me to tell me the order was canceled. I waited three weeks for an email to come pick up an item. I could have had this item 3 weeks ago from Michaels craft store. JoAnn's sucks!

This outfit needs a complete overhaul of their standard operating procedures. I just left a review today describing my experience at their store. I don't know how the employees can stand hearing all the complaints from the customers. The corporate office needs to pay attention to the customers' complaints. I can only imagine how their employees on the front lines feel. Even the vibe of the employees at my local store is edgy and defensive. I won't be going back or ordering online from them anymore.
